In 2018, TeleDCIS was established alongside five other DCIS organizations (Energy, Finance, Health, Transport, and Maritime) with the purpose of working towards securing Danish infrastructure and citizens against external threats that could disrupt our supply of electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications.
TeleDCIS members actively and operationally work to address the rapid developments in the field of cyber and information security, ensuring that the telecommunications sector’s capacity and resilience meet the current threat landscape.
As a coordinating entity, TeleDCIS will conduct ongoing threat analyses and risk assessments, as well as develop sector-specific strategies. Additionally, TeleDCIS facilitates risk assessment workshops and annual emergency exercises with our members. This contributes to our members gaining practical experience in handling serious situations, testing various scenarios, and assessing their ability to withstand the threats we continuously work to mitigate.
In the event of security incidents, TeleDCIS assists the sector, in collaboration with our members, by providing both knowledge and tools. The reliable operation, security, and resilience of the telecommunications sector are crucial elements in Denmark’s defense against external attacks.
TeleDCIS continuously collaborates with authorities and stakeholders in other critical sectors.
